THERAPEUTICAL TREATMENT

Social workers, special education teachers and occupational therapists organize meetings of inmates with their families as well as meetings with representatives of public welfare centres. They also work with individuals and groups and take part in the work of therapeutical clubs.

Working with inmates they especially attach importance to therapeutical groups.

There are joint meetings of inmates and staff in which take part those inmates who are put up into the institute, who are under treatment.

The organizing of family meetings (parental meetings) is very important activity of this department. It is the way to maintain and refine family ties.

Special education teachers, occupational therapists and occupational instructors engage inmates in various activities, attaining the most optimal results in their socialization and helping them to resume their psychical and physical functions.

The main aim of occupational rehabilitation is to reactivate inmates and to help them to use their own abilities. Occupational therapy is organized in pavilions. After an inmate passes occupational therapy he or she can work in some of workshops

Today this institute works under difficult circumstances. The institute's finances haven't been sound recently , so the building of the institute is pretty dilapidated which can be seen everywhere. [further]
